Although I'm more focused on Canada wide/provincial electric systems (generation, transmission,...) thank you for this valuable piece of information.

Now, I believe we're facing a dilemma: the necessity to produce more oil & transport on West coast for Asia/Europe markets (to offset upcoming problems due to Trump's behavior towards Canada) or limit current/future production of oil not increase green gas emissions.

As far as I'm concerned, I agree with your comment (there's a lot of bull.... in public statements issued by Alberta and fed govt) but still don't know which option should be mine...

I am just going out the door, but I am in full agreement with you, and I have written about the electric grid in a previous copy. My thoughts are that it is the real sovereign project of Canada that requires the courage to build, like the railway project that established Canada from sea to sea. But what do we know lol. namaste

Yes I fully believe that, notwithstanding green gas issues, we have to increase our production, build a new oil pipeline as well as a natural gas pipeline to set up a 2nd LNG facility in BC.

We must pursue by all means to get "unlinked" from our US dependency and regain our global status as Canada did after WWII...
