The old saying is that there are 2 types of politicians, those who want to be something vs. those who want to do something.

Until you have been stuck on any Ontario highway you should count yourself lucky. The 401 is one of the worst in North America. Public transportation is the answer. No roads, tunnels can keep up with the the amount of personal vehicles and their owners. Tolls only aggravate they are not a longterm solution. This train is a start to public transportation and moving forward.

I can’t thank you enough for this kind of writing. It is my hope that we stand by Mr. Carney as he navigates our country through these difficult times. Your writing gives me hope and eases the pain I my chest that so often happens when reading and listening to most folks these days.

Cash the cheque today, buy lottery tickets. I feel that’s Pollievre, short term talking points.

Go into debt, get an education, get a better life, make better decisions. Or not. Again every time I see Pollievre bloviating I think Mac’s for dinner not a home cooked meal.

I'll likely come back to read the entire piece, but I'm already sold on sending PP packing. If he wants to save taxpayers' money he can start by forfeiting his outrageously over-priced public housing, slashing other exorbitant expenses we all pay for, and cap it off by donating the majority of his bloated salary and benefits package, including the enormous life-time pension, all drawn from the public purse, to whatever publically-funded projects he purports to support.

What is so helpful about the stratum perspective is that it’s not inherently polarizing. Left or right becomes short term vs long term. You have addressed this with a piece on Lewis/ NDP. I wonder what would a stratum 6 , or even stratum 8 “conservative “‘perspective look like??

Go Carney GO! I want my GRANDCHILDREN and GREAT GRANDCHILDREN to have a SUCCESSFUL FUTURE IN A SOVEREIGN CANADA. They don’t deserve a PRIVATIZED, CONSERVATIVE OLIGARCHY FASCIST GOVERNMENT.
