You write so well, organized and lay it all out.

Not sure if you’ve come across Robert L Arnold, I think you’ll enjoy his writing.

Thank you to Indigenous People and the Crown. I hope that full exposure of the secret dealing backers will follow.

Surely there must be some federal statute that sanctions foreign interference in Canadian domestic affairs. Treason is a high bar, but there must be something else that could be brought to bear. If there isn't then we have a big problem going forward with the US's blatant attempts to disrupt and influence our domestic politics

You would think and hope so, but there seems to be a loophole in Democratic countries with freedom of speech, and the argument can be made that giving anything attention just causes more attention, but we are living in a new age. The PIAAC reading and comprehension levels clearly state that 53% of Canadians read and comprehend at level two, which means they are literally dictionary-wise ignorant.

Great article!!! I was pretty sure the treaty rights being enshrined in the Constitution would take precedence, glad they do!

If we had an opposition party in Parliament there might be questions for the Liberals. Sadly, our current opposition are nothing but quislings supportive of this.

So now we see the Americans begin to vilify First Nations in a false declaration that the fentanyl consumed by their citizens is shipped across the Canada/US border through FN territory. This is predictable expect more of the same.

Great article! Thanks. A key point for me, is that "Every square kilometre of the Province of Alberta sits within the boundaries of a numbered treaty. There is no gap." And it's useful to remember that the Hudson's Bay Company was given claim to a vast area of Alberta, Saskatchewan, part of BC and the North West Territories by the Crown, all collectively called Rupert's Land. Canada eventually bought it in 1870. It seems to me that we're essentially renters/squatters on stolen land that was bought by a 3rd party, who gave control of it to a 4th party, the Alberta government, if one wants to really get down to the nitty gritty details.

They have lost this hand. Canada, and Alberta will remain under attack.

I agree, and we will find out where the money came from, and if proven, Smith knew it should be the end of her political career
