The majority of adults, mostly unbeknownst to themselves, are living and climbing in the state of Purgatory, as beautifully described by Dante. Poetry such as Dante’s can be a significant aspect of the journey of the soul towards heaven, as can stories, particularly those in the Bible. Unfortunately we humans living in the postmodern era have by and large eliminated storytelling. Universal truths: the good, the true, and the beautiful are inherent in many of the finest stories. Thank you for adding your thoughts to that list of outstanding stories. I am anticipating the release of your book about sacred metaphysics.

Many years ago, after an ah-ha moment, there was the thought “ everything is ok. All I have to do now is learn how to die.” Lots of letting go’s since then, and coming to detect that eternal timeless- boundless ever so close , ever more frequently. It’s been a good joyful direction for a very full life.

Meg, my first thought after reading your comment was, "You really are my sister in more ways than one." Thank you for your generosity of spirit. Ps I had my first scotch in a very long time last night as I wrote this, and now the book has it full frame. Toast to all who have lived a good, true, and beautiful life.
