As a nurse in Emergency cooperation was the flow. If we all worked for the common goals of every patient, then we all found success. Team meant overlapping ownership of care, to the benefit of all.
I worked as a sitter for 5 years at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, caring for palliative and post-surgery patients. I was always impressed by the young nurses who answered the call to be the Good Samaritan. Namaste
